As you can see, Mike Personius doesn't believe in giving his customers the run-around. He is straight forward, honest and dedicated to giving his all to whatever he does. He and his wife Julie, owners of CHUNK'S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE, are professionals in the business as well as in their commitment to family and community. The above is a quote from Mike in a recent newspaper article entitled "Chunk's to donate proceeds of November 27 car repairs".

It turns out, every year at Thanksgiving Mike and Julie donate all the proceeds, for an ENTIRE day of service and repair, to Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis. The article goes on to say, “Chunk's customers share this philanthropic outlook” and have voluntarily paid more than the actual price of their repairs. In addition, Mike and Julie give all their customers a free auto emergency kit on that day.

Mike earned a degree as an automotive technician and worked for a dealership for several years. In 1993 he started into business with a friend and partner, James Kerber (deceased). In 1995 Mike moved and purchased an existing business that had been started in 1962, and is now the quality shop he calls CHUNK'S! He is an ASE certified Master Technician and a former AASP-MN Mechanical Advisory Board Member.
